Studio Charcoal — Custom Pet Portrait Canvas
Charcoal is the oldest way to draw an animal, and still the most direct. No colour to carry the mood — only light, shadow and the grain of the paper.
Soft smudged shading, deep blacks in the eyes, a little white chalk on the muzzle, edges fading into warm grey paper. Sober without being sad, which is why it works both as a gift and as a portrait of a pet who is still very much around. Upload one photo and see it in about ten seconds — free, before you pay.

The cat version
Cat fur takes charcoal differently from a dog's coat — shorter strokes, more contrast at the cheek, whiskers lifted out rather than drawn on. The cat version has its own crop with the ears fully in frame.
Where it works
Studies, dark walls, and rooms with wood and leather. The one Studio style that does not look modern, if that is what you want.
Our promise
Guaranteed likeness. If the portrait does not look like your pet, we reprint it or refund you — a photo of the print is enough, nothing to send back. Printed and finished in the USA, delivered in 5–7 days.
